John 10:19-26

Misunderstanding

• Confusion arose because of what He said (v. 19-20)
• Conflict arose because they couldn't control him (v. 21-23)
• Clarity was demanded but not desired (v. 24-26)

John 10:27-30

Belief

• Relationship based on hearing and following (v. 27)
• Relationship that is indestructible, even by death (v. 28)
• Relationship that is secured by the initiative, strength, and protection of God (v.28-30)

John 10:31-39

Misunderstanding

• Reaction is violent against perceived blasphemy (v. 31-33)
• Their argument wasn't thought through (v. 34-36)
• Jesus appeals (again) to His work (v. 37-39)

John 10:40-42

Belief

• Their faith was birthed out of John's faithful work and testimony
